NOTES: The theme “Singles” here becomes clear when you see that all the street names are made up of one name only – i.e. with no ‘road’, ‘drive’, ‘avenue’ or ‘close’ to further identify the nature of the street. Some are clearly ‘condensed’ names, combining the name and the street type, e.g. Heronway, Woodpath, while others would seem to be unique to the area, such as ‘Drang’, ‘Dairymoor’ and ‘Cockles’. Norman is simply missing his Road.
